How Inspired Action™ came about
We met while being new retail shop owners; actually, we were business neighbors. We quickly learned that each of us experienced the same loneliness of running our businesses in isolation.
While we enjoyed being entrepreneurs, having come from corporate America we discovered what was missing – being surrounded by people with whom we could bounce ideas off of and seek counsel. Recognizing that each of us could help the other, we organized a Mastermind group which included other local business owners.
Our monthly meetings reinforced for us that accountability, idea storming and overall general support helped us to feel confident and supported. In addition, we shared best practices and ideas. We helped each other think through tough decisions and knew we always had a trustworthy sounding board.
Many years later we’ve continued to Mastermind together on a consistent basis. We have been involved in similar groups along the way and discovered that “Mastermind” is an overused term that few truly understand. We’ve come to know there are certain elements that make a Mastermind successful and it’s from this knowledge that we’ve created Inspired Action™.
We’ve learned and believe…
- The best ideas don’t happen in a vacuum.
- Business owners need an objective sounding board.
- The best groups require giving as well as receiving.
- That being authentic with fellow team members is essential.
- It’s important to always assume good intent when feedback is given.
- When women help each other, magic happens.
We created Inspired Action™ just for you.
- You are a woman business owner, entrepreneur or executive, and you know that growing a business is not something that happens alone.
- You’ve probably felt stuck or alone at some point when trying to make decisions and move your business forward.
- There are times you just need to get clarity on an idea or a direction. Other times, you need help fleshing out a strategy.
